DIGITAL FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

Digital Functional Skills qualifications are designed to equip learners with essential digital competencies for effective participation in education, work, and daily life. Available in England at Entry Level 3 and Level 1, these qualifications cover key areas such as:

Assessments are externally set and marked, delivered onscreen and online, and are available on demand. The assessment comprises two sections: a multiple-choice knowledge test and a task-based skills test. 

These qualifications are for learners aged 14-16, 16-18, and 19+ in England. They provide reliable evidence of a learner’s achievements against content relevant to the workplace and real life, assessing both knowledge and the ability to apply skills in various contexts.
